Rachael Ray has made a cryptic comment about ‘sad things that happen to you’ as fans worry about her health.
TV chef Rachael, 56, sparked fresh concern on her podcast with Billy Crudup with the remark, When I’m Dead I’ll Sleep.
Actor Billy talks about his obsession with several canceled projects, including the Apple TV+ series Hello Tomorrow, which was canceled after just one season.
Rachael replied: “That’s the beauty of life, you have to learn, and I think that’s a great talking point for living a long life and having a long life and having a career, is you have to learn to understand that. When things are sad? And what do your choices mean in the end?
“Not everything that seems bad is bad. Sometimes things that happen to you that seem sad on the outside, can also help you move forward and understand other people. Don’t you agree? Are they or not?”
Later in the discussion, she gently alluded to challenges with her husband, John M. Casimano, to whom she has been married since 2005.
The TV personality said: “I’m incredibly lucky to have my husband. But he understands that I need my space. He needs his space. John and I live in separate corners most of the time. “
After sparking health concerns and admitting to a recent “bad fall,” Rachel made a rare public appearance at a New York food festival this month.

The chef wore a satin dress with a multi-patterned jacket and shoes and had straight hair.
“Look at all these years and every single chef who’s a former award winner here. These guys are seriously proud of their trophies and their belts, right? They take it seriously,” Rachael cheered to the crowd.
“I’m glad you’re all here, and I just want to say thank you to everyone here.
“They’ve become a family to me all these years, decades… I love being here, and it’s great to be with you all and thank you for coming for us, we’re hungry for you and yours. Have a beer and a burger!”
After taking the stage at the start of the night, Rachel made her way to her gin booth where she mingled for a bit.
At the end of the night, Rachel took the stage again to announce the winner of the Burger Bash, adding that she has been coming to the festival for 17 years.
The winner of the Judges’ Choice Award was Mel from Mel’s Butcher Box in Tenafly, New Jersey, while the crowd vote winner was Josh Capone from Capon’s Burgers in Las Vegas.
