American businesswoman Martha Stewart has been slammed for using bad camera angles in her new Netflix documentary.
The 83-year-old has slammed the director of the Netflix show for using the “ugliest angles” to portray her as a “lonely old lady”.
Netflix’s new documentary, Martha, hits the streaming platform this Wednesday.
“Told in her own words, this vivid documentary charts the unstoppable rise, sudden fall and hard-won comeback of lifestyle icon Martha Stewart,” reads the documentary synopsis.
But the show’s star Martha has now revealed that she did not enjoy the second half of the film and even “hated” parts of it.
The new documentary was directed by veteran documentary filmmaker RJ Cutler, whose previous documentaries include The September Issue and Elton John: Never Too Late.

Speaking to The New York Times in a new interview, Martha shared that she thinks it’s “amazing” that the filmmaker made “so little use” of his archives.
He then criticized RJ Cutler for portraying her as a “lonely old woman” in the final scenes of the film.
“Those last scenes with me look like a lonely old lady wandering in a garden?” he said.
“Boy, I told him to get rid of them. And he refused. I hate those last scenes.” He added.
Touching on how she was “walking with a limp,” Martha said, “I ruptured my Achilles tendon.
“I had to have this nasty operation. And so I was limping a bit.
“But again, he doesn’t even say why — that I can live through it and still work seven days a week.”
And Martha’s criticism of the film didn’t stop there, as she had several more scathing comments about the documentary about her life.
Looking for rap music, Martha was disappointed by the score, which consisted mostly of classical music.
Bad camera angles
And the camera angles didn’t impress Martha either.
